Carrabba's Team Blythe Takes Second Place in Savannah
Carrabba's Team Blythe,
coming off a second place finish in Fort Myers rolled into Savannah,
Georgia to defend last years first place finish. Carrabba's
Team Blythe racing participated in media day for the big event.
The local NBC news anchor Michael Jordan and his camera crew
jumped on the Carrabba's boat and went for a racing experience.
It made his day, as well as the teams day. Later that day the
team was invited back to the news studio to watch the story
that was done on Carrabba's Team Blythe unfold on the big screen.
What great fun! To complete the experience, owner Todd Blythe was asked and did a lead
in promo to the newscast. The team would like to extend a special
thanks to NBC news for the coverage of the race event
and of the great video of Carrabba's race team. The news also featured our website as the website of the day! The web address was plastered on the screen for about 15 seconds along with a blow up of our front page. In addition, the team was
also featured in the local news paper, Savannah Now. Click

It was a hard fought race, the water was surprisingly rough and Carrabba's Team Blythe was very proud to finish in second place in front of the tens of thousands who flocked the beaches for race day.
A special thanks to Greg Stamper, owner of Carrabba's Savannah. He and his staff were wonderful. The team visited the store to sign autographs and were on hand to answer any questions regarding the racing. They also showcased the boat outside for passerbys and patrons to see.

Here is the team and the race boat on display outside Carrabba's
Savannah located on the major highway for all passerbys and
patrons to get a better look at a high powered race boat.
The news at eleven...Carrabba's Team Blythe enjoys the spotlight
as Michael Jordan delivers the news about the team visiting
Savannah.

Grease Monkey Car Care traveled with us in spirit to Savannah
and their banner was displayed proudly for all to see in the
dry pits.
